Search engine optimization means to undertake a series of actions on a web page, in the source code for the web, the metatag labels and titles, among many other things, with the goal of placing our website at the top positions in search results with certain keywords or phrases to search. Search engine positioning, or SEO (Search engine optimization) are all the actions that take place inside and outside of the web and that intend to show our web site on a high position in the search engines.
We can distinguish two types of positioning:
1 Natural Positioning: is to our position our web site among the top natural search results in search engines, i. e. those results located on the left side of the browser.
2 Sponsored positioning, sponsored links, search engine marketing, PPC: all actions aimed at putting our ads at the top of the sponsored links.

Key words are words or search terms entered by a user into a search engine / directory to find information on the matter relating to that word or term. Also keywords are those words embedded in the html code of a website that simplify being located by search engines.

If your site appears in search results it means that your page has already been indexed and included in the database search engine.
